Battles will generally proceed with the first command skill in your command list. Use the up/down button on the directional pad to select characters, and left/right to change the target enemy. There are of course intuitive touch controls too! Press the COMMAND button to bring up the command list to perform a different action. Action Skills are abilities and spells you can use during battles, and can only be activated when "Skill Orbs" are charged up in time. Each Action Skill uses up an orb. Perform multiple Action Skills at once by using multiple orbs, allowing you to chain different skills for a combo. You can customize your skills from the Menu screen, so choose the best ones to match your play style. Each town has its own guild where you can take on quests for bonus rewards. Purge monsters or deliver goods to complete quests. Once cleared, you can receive a reward, which may be an item or gold. You can also change your party at headquarters in Polaris.
