To ensure that so-called "spoilers" do not rob others of enjoyment, devalue the game itself, or negatively impact future game productions, guidelines are set for the posting of gameplay videos, live streaming (including commentary), and fan creations within the realm of hobbies.
By paying a little attention, we believe we can create a safe and joyful environment for both fans and KEMCO.

Applicable Title for These Guidelines
These guidelines apply to "Tales from Toyotoki: Arrival of the Witch".
* These guidelines will be updated periodically, so when creating gameplay videos or engaging in fan activities, please refer to the latest version of these guidelines. If we announce the discontinuation of applying these guidelines to "Tales from Toyotoki: Arrival of the Witch," please refrain from creating gameplay videos and fan creations related to this title. In such cases, we request the removal of posted gameplay videos and the cessation of the creation, distribution, sale, and use of any fan creations.
Policy on Gameplay Videos
Individual customers may create and upload gameplay videos of "Tales from Toyotoki: Arrival of the Witch" within the permissible recording area (*1), for non-excessive commercial purposes only (*2), including live streaming and commentary.
However, videos used for streaming or commentary must include unique comments or commentary by the creator, and videos closely resembling the game's content without additional original content are not allowed.
Additionally, monetization of videos is only allowed when using the systems of video distribution and sharing sites listed below. This list is subject to periodic updates (additions and removals of systems), so when creating gameplay videos, be sure to refer to the latest version of the list.

(*1) "Tales from Toyotoki: Arrival of the Witch" specifies the permissible recording area, so please conduct recording within this designated area. If KEMCO determines that the recording is outside the permissible area, we may request the cessation of recording, streaming, and commentary through email or comments.

(*2) "Excessive commercial purposes" include actions such as video streaming by creators affiliated with production companies, promoting unrelated content within videos, obtaining rewards or remuneration through real-world events using video streaming or commentary, etc.
Moreover, editing or presentation methods should not diminish the value of KEMCO's creations or the KEMCO brand.
(e.g., Posting videos that inappropriately modify the content, revealing content beyond specified areas, engaging in third-party defamation, editing and posting videos summarizing ending scenes, movie scenes, and story content.)
Policy on Fan Creations
Individual customers are allowed to engage in fan activities within the realm of hobbies, creating personal or among limited doujin circles (fan-made circles) fan creations related to "Tales from Toyotoki: Arrival of the Witch," such as:
- Creation, sharing, use and distribution of illustrations, doujinshi, manga, novels, etc.
- Cosplay costume creation and display, and sharing, use and distribution of photos and videos of cosplay.
Fan creations are allowed as long as they remain within the range judged to lack excessive commercial nature, regardless of being for profit or free. (Examples of excessive commercial nature include being on a made-to-order basis, having more than 90% of the product sold or distributed by a third party with the creator doing minimal direct selling, and exceeding a cumulative production quantity of 200 items for a single item, etc.) However, reuse of KEMCO's illustrations, logos, audio, music, videos, and texts beyond the scope of citation is not allowed. Additionally, the production, sharing, use, and distribution of fan merchandise are strictly prohibited.
For fan creations that significantly devalue the product value of KEMCO's works, violate public order and morals, or exceed socially acceptable standards, warnings or deletion measures may be taken. Expressions not suitable for viewers below the age specified by age-based ratings like CERO, ESRB, PEGI, etc. for the game are also prohibited.
It is appreciated if creators can provide spoiler warnings to allow those who haven't played the game to avoid spoilers. We trust fans to use common sense and exercise voluntary judgment.
Notes
- For videos that are deemed excessively commercial as described in the "Policy on Gameplay Videos" section and fan creations that show excessive profit-oriented activities as described in the "Policy on Fan Creations" section, or any other content deemed inappropriate by KEMCO, correction or cessation may be requested through email or comments. If KEMCO requests correction or cessation, regardless of the reason, please comply with KEMCO's request. In case of non-compliance, we may request the removal of videos from video-sharing platforms or contact site and event organizers. In cases of malicious activity or repeated violations, legal action may be considered.
- These guidelines apply only to fan activities conducted by individual customers for the purpose of sharing the enjoyment of gameplay and the charm of the creations. Posting gameplay videos or engaging in fan creations for purposes other than this is not permitted.
- Exemptions from restrictions may be granted only with special permission from KEMCO, as specified. (*) KEMCO does not grant special permission for exemptions to individual customers, and inquiries regarding exemption will not be answered. We appreciate your understanding.
- KEMCO may change these guidelines without notice. Before posting videos, streaming, or engaging in fan creations, please check the latest guidelines.
- Regarding information received from users (including information about violators) related to these guidelines, the relevant department will consider appropriate actions. However, individual responses will not be provided.
- KEMCO assumes no responsibility for any inconveniences that may arise for customers as a result of these guidelines.
- These guidelines exist in several languages, for the benefit of non-Japanese-speaking users. The scope and content of the guidelines is the same across all languages. However, if for any reason there exists a contradiction between the scope, terms or content expressed in the Japanese-language version of the guidelines and the scope, terms or content expressed in the English-language version of the guidelines, then the Japanese-language version shall be deemed to take precedence.
